Hi There, Thanks for visiting Roel's digital place... Here you can find work in the creative arts that I loved over the years and still do currently. I love performing and teaching in the arts. When teaching i'm valuing safety and equality, sharing responsibility for the learning process and looking to discover a new approach in every interaction. As a teacher and coach I value teaching how to think over what to think. Thanks to the mime-education at the Amsterdam University of the Arts, I opened my eyes to the richness of non-verbal behaviour and grew an interest in the mannerisms and involuntary movement qualities intrinsic to us people. My passion lies in the never ending search through creative expression of inner truth and storytelling. I enjoy moments when performers share spontaneity and present discoveries, great clowns can do that beautifully!

I became an Actor because acting is a profession that keeps a challenging and rich search alive that never offers the final answers. Check out my online course The Receptive Mind at the bottom of this page! Enjoy your look around and please feel free to contact me. |
