Black animal sadness
A modern piece about six city dwellers.
On a pretty summers day the group of friends decides to get out of the city, into the forest. Baby and barbeque along, just to get out of everyday life for a while. Enjoy what nature has to offer, crack some jokes, get drunk and embrace freedom. Cynical games and the everlasting presence of distance and love play overtones of sentiment. Suddenly a small unseen spark lids the forest. Are the friends well matched against the pangs of death, the loneliness and vulnerability within burning nature? Black animal sadness is a story on our time, untameable desires, loss and regret.
